With the growing interests in fashion and celebrity in China, we introduced photographer Mario Testino to China through a retrospective of his work in Beijing and Shanghai.
I helped select and negotiate the museums, as well as image selection. The exhibitions were sponsored by Burberry and Vogue China, with a coffee table book published by Taschen. Attendance in Shanghai exceeded 150,000 during its 4-weeks run. It was the last exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum in its historical People’s Park location..
